It has been one of the better playoffs in quite some time, as evident by the closer stats as well! :)

Suns versus Mavs... what a great matchup thats going to be... seems almost like a dream season this... 9 overtime games in playoffs (thats a playoff recors - and we haven't started round 3 yet!) - ah!mazing...
as an aside, it would have been a shame had the refs been able to pull it out for Tim 'crybaby' Duncan n the spurs...
all in all - a great day for NBA fans all over...

SA look favourites for me as well Rohit. On the Detroit offense which you wondered about - I was thinking the same actually..

Pratyush... Agree with you on the Heat being tough to beat... though I haven't been able to figure out the reason for the slump in pistons offense... I see it more as a Pat Riley - Flip Saunders match-up and I think Pat, with 4 rings with the Lakers in the 80s would out-think Flip... expect the series to produce some good games though...

Coming west, I think Dallas missed a huge opportunity to close out the spurs at home - its going to be mighty tough for them now at the At & T center... Tim & Dirk would ofcourse carry their teams and offset each other - boils down to who wins the support cast battle - Manu-Tony versus Josh-Terry-Stackhouse... mouthwatering to say the least!

I like the Suns in the other game but to be honest, Clips are better than I had thought they were - and might well pull out a surprise... promises to be yet another humdinger of a contest... can't wait for the tip-off...

Suss, the Heat will be tough to beat. They have a good combination of youth and experienced players and I am strongly backing them.

Det-Cle: LeBron was always going to be targeted all the more in this game and that would be the key for the Detroit win - so it had a high chance of being low scoring. Too bad Pistons won.. :(

Most people forget that the Miami Heat lanced through the second round and are waiting for the Pistons, who are dead tired.

Three Game Sevens. Astouding. And great to watch. (Detroit-Cleveland a low scoring, ugly game, however.)
