Jordan made so much impact twins - in the game as well as drawing people to the league. It will be tough for any one to create that much impact. If it can be any one, it can be LeBron though from current players. As they say, never say never in sport. So we will have to wait and watch.

It's obviously way too early for any type of MJ comparisons, but I think eventually he can have that kind of impact.

More apt of a poor comparison would be Steve Kerr and Robert Horry, both known for big shots and multiple championships as role players on good teams, some of those rings with the Spurs.

OK, maybe they are very similar. But Horry is a defensive-minded forward, Kerr was a scrawny little dude who was synonymous with the three-point shot.

Right Suss! Two completely different players. It would be like comparing Steve Kerr with Mutombo regardless of both being exceptional in their own respects if we take an extreme example. ;)

I too am not part of the Jordan comparison. He's more of a Magic Johnson, and if you want to get very retro, an Oscar Robertson.

Jordan was a pure shooter. LeBron has a larger frame and can rebound and pass the ball better. The comparisons will fall flat no matter how great he gets because they both had two very different games.
