Geoff your right about tournaments but only on a professional level (World Snooker). There are still 100&#039;s of Pro-Ams and club events around the UK, plus most countries throughout Europe and Asia also host their own Pro events. I think World Snooker should upgrade some of these events to Ranking events, more tournaments means more money which means more players.

Essentially all of the top players are capable of playing perfectly, though - it&#039;s almost entirely down to mental strength and confidence. Willie Thorne, now a commentator, is the perfect example of this - he was genuinely distressed when he failed to make pots that he&#039;d knock in for fun in practice.</description>
