Nasri had a great chance in the first half almost scoring. Ibrahimovic scored early in the second half with a fair bit of luck. Then Barcelona scored again! Barcelona dominated in the second half before a great chance for Nicklas Bendtner for Arsenal superbly saved by Valdes after which Arsenal came back strongly. Walcott’s goal was excellent. The Fabregas penalty tied it up.
As a Barcelona fan I rue the score being 2-2 after being 2-0 up but we still have the away goal advantage. It will be one hell of a build up and match in Nou Camp.
Despite being an Arsenal fan, I have to admit that it was a miracle that the scores are tied. I’ve never seen Arsenal being so comprehensively outplayed at the passing game, as in the first half. But it was a great show of spirit by the Gunners.
The second leg will be interesting, as Barca will have their second string defensive partnership. But still they are very much in the driving seat.
I sadly missed the first 30 minutes in which Barcelona played awesome from all reports and like you are saying. Barca’s passing game has always been very strong. I thought Arsenal played really well later on in the game.
