World Records Academy

SYDNEY, Australia — Australian schoolgirl sailor Jessica Watson, 16, made a triumphant return to Sydney, after a 23,000 nautical mile (about 38,000km), 210-day voyage that saw her ride 12-metre swells, eat 576 chocolate bars in her 10-metre yacht – setting the new world record for the Youngest to circumnavigate the globe nonstop and unassisted.

Truly an amazing feat. Congrats!

They have a solid all round team with many good players. I am not surprised at all that they defeated the Cavs. My only worry – have they peaked too early? There are still two rounds to go and it is still a LONG way away from thinking about a championship.

He could be the next big sport legend.

The teen golf prodigy has launched his pro career now.

His list of achievements is amazing. CNN World Sport:

From the day he challenged the great Seve Ballesteros to a chipping contest at the age of four, Matteo Manassero has been a precocious golf talent.

The Italian, who last month became the youngest player to make the halfway cut at the Masters in Augusta, has launched his professional career 17 days after his 17th birthday.

Manassero, who was also the leading amateur at last year’s British Open and topped the non-paid players’ world rankings for 18 weeks, made a solid start on Thursday.

Here’s wishing he has a great career.
