Decalink #1

Monday, May 1st, 2006

Another day, another feature. Presenting today - Decalink. I keep coming across news, views, insights and much more related to sports. However, I am unable to highlight them in posts more often than not.

This seems a good solution. Deca denotes a factor of 10 or 10 itself. So in Decalink, I will be highlighting 10 sports related web pages.

So without further ado:

• Off Wing Opinion Live Blogs the NHL.

• CSKA Moscow wins Euro League.

• CNNSI on Chris Couch winning maiden PGA title.

• Deadspin on Lakers taking a 3-1 lead over the Suns.

• Kenya Cricket Blog on the new Kenya Sports Bill.

• Former Timberwolves co-owner Harvey Ratner is dead.

• Chandrahas Choudhury on playing cricket in the Oval Maidan in Mumbai.

• England post-Rooney talk. From Times: fallen foot soldiers.

• Football Commentator on Andres Iniesta.

• H. Natarajan on S.Venkataraghavan.

Decalink will appear 2 times a week usually. The football interviews will appear 4 times usually. There is the daily football commercial of course. All this is the tentative plan subject to change ofcourse.

Do E-mail me links to sports news, views and insights which you find out. Credit will always be given. You can also mail me links to your own pieces. I would highly appreciate it.

I hope you enjoyed the launching edition of Decalink.
